Description
The Muff Opportunity is a clone of Big Muff Pi™ opamp version which was released by Electro Harmonix around 1978-1980. This fuzz uses [opamps instead of transistors to create a unique fuzz sound. Billy Corgan of the band Smashing Pumpkins is known for using these types of muffs to create the sonic textures of “Siamese Dream” and many others albums/songs.
The PCB is designed to fit into a 1590B enclosure and uses standard 16mm pots. This is a fairly easy build, and you are rewarded with some great sounds for your efforts!

Just finished this build and it is sooooo much fun. Super thick and aggressive full up, but calms down with the guitar volume backed off a bit. Way more versatile than I thought it would be. Very happy!! A pretty easy build to boot!
